Empty Share

Featured Replies

I am still having issues viewing my share folders, with them all showing up as blank.

When I SSH into my unraid machine, and try to navigate to the share I get.

root@UnRaidServer:/mnt/user# ls

Paul/  Public/  Sue/

root@UnRaidServer:/mnt/user# cd Public

root@UnRaidServer:/mnt/user/Public# ls

/bin/ls: reading directory .: Permission denied

root@UnRaidServer:/mnt/user/Public#

I have rerun the permissions script as well as rebooted and keep getting the same thing.

Any ideas what is causing it?  I"m close to starting unraid from scratch with a new install.

Can anyone help?

Your subject line says empty share but it sounds like you just can't access it so you don't know whether it's empty or not.

What do you get with

cd /mnt/user
ls -al

Also, what user are you using for SSH?

I can think of two things to try:

- At the /mnt/user level run the

ls -l

and post the result so we can see what permissions you actually have

- If that looks OK, then consider running a reiserfsck check against the disks to see if there is any file system corruption.
