Anyone here got RUTorrent and RTorrent setup on their box?

Featured Replies

I tried for a little bit, kept running into dependency issues for RTorrent, and, as I'm not too good with slackware, so, I gave up.

Anyone ever done this? I may try again, this time not at 4AM, but, no point if someone already has.

EDIT:- With very little issue I got RTorrent working today, no idea what was happening yesterday. Gonna try RUTorrent now.

any chance of a write up to show how you got it going please?

Any news on how you got this going, did you try rutorrent?

Is there a reason not to use utorrent?

didn't think utorrent was very stable, is it?

I have been using it since plugin was released and have dowloaded and share several hundreds gigabytes if not terabytes with it.

Well, there is currently no utorrent plugin available that just works out of the box. Downloading the utserver plugin (http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=20620.0) and installing it does not work. I have been trying to fix it without succes until now.

Besides that this thread asks for rtorrent. Is there someone running it?
