I just installed plex media center and now my drives never spin down. anyone else have this problem?

Do you have "Update my library automatically " in setting checked?

Yes I do. but it's set to run once and hour

uncheck the "Update my library periodically"

I have unchecked that as well and set it to update once every 6 hours and they still won't spin down. going to set it to once a day and see if that works.

Where is the plex server storing its information? Just a quick check to make sure you're not putting them on a share that's using these drives. Also checking the drive spin-down time to confirm that's set properly.

data is set to the cache drive and spin down is default at 1 hour
