why not just live boot ubuntu to do benchmarks?

Have to agree with Dephcon, I don't see the point of this as a plugin.  I guess someone might be willing though.

 

The fact that it's a purchased product kind of goes against the tradition of the plugin system.

Beyond that, running a benchmark that could easily cause system failure on a production system hosting data simply isn't a good idea. 

plus this appears to need a gui to run within... unraid doesnt come with one.. so for most this is really pointless. you could just use a livecd/flashdrive and get your machine into linux/windows to do tests if thats really what you wanna do. hell or just run prime95

FWIW, the linux version of geekbench can be run from command line.
