August 26, 201312 yr I have seen the other requests on the forums and some work done previously, eg: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=24886.0 But I would love to see a plugin for deluge torrent client, that allows editing of install directory, data directory and possibly WebUI port through the unRAID WebUI. Since the rTorrent/ruTorrent (Best Torrent Client ever) plugin has been withdrawn, I think that a poweruser's torrent client is still missing from unRAID. Deluge offers more features than Transmission (IMHO) and seeing as uTorrent for linux still does not have a viable "Blocklist" feature, I feel that deluge is marginally safer than uTorrent!! Anyone have any interest?! New to unRAID, but LOVING it! The.Capt
September 2, 201312 yr BUMP. Would love options other than Transmission and uTorrent. There was another user that said that he got rTorrent running but never responded to the topic with more details.
September 3, 201312 yr Yes, I'm also interested in this. I don't think there is any good way for downloading torrents via rss on unraid today?
September 3, 201312 yr Deluge is a resource hog and requires Java. It is nice though. Just be aware of that. I wouldn't use it on my mini itx unraid build. Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk 2
September 4, 201312 yr Yes, I'm also interested in this. I don't think there is any good way for downloading torrents via rss on unraid today? Use usenet! The latest versions of nzbget have an excellent RSS reader and filterererer system. http://nzbget.sourceforge.net/RSS http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=23423.0

The latest versions of nzbget have an excellent RSS reader and filterererer system. http://nzbget.sourceforge.net/RSS http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=23423.0 I do use usenet, but since the closure of nzbmatrix I have no success with a decent indexer! (Any advise/invites on this topic please PM me!!) But asides from usenet I do think an RSS torrent option would be really useful sometimes; I used to use rtorrent/rutorrent on an old machine of mine before and it was brilliant but unfortunately the rtorrent/rutorrent plugin for unraid has been long abandoned!! Deluge may be too resource heavy however as suggested by xamindar.
September 7, 201312 yr For TV, SickBeard's own (free) indexer catches virtually everything and there are now, what 4 billion Newznab sites? I've automated virtually everything, myself.
September 7, 201312 yr For TV, SickBeard's own (free) indexer catches virtually everything and there are now, what 4 billion Newznab sites? I've automated virtually everything, myself. From my perspective, having to pay for a service defies the object of what i'm trying to do in the first place. If that was the case i would pay directly to the shows. It's the same for seedboxes...I too however have it all automated, and it's the best part of having a home server.

September 8, 201312 yr Author I had a look at qbittorrent as an option: http://www.qbittorrent.org It has RSS features and can run headless but unfortunately the RSS features are non-accessible through the webui Another option would be for a Flexget plugin (Unraid v5 format plugin rather than unmenu package) where we could use the Flexget webui or the Flexget configuration file editor to set up our RSS needs for Influencer's Transmission plugin. I appreciate the points being made by usenet users, and I currently DO use usenet for 90% of my needs (longtime SB,CP and Sab user) but I am just thinking of improving/streamlining the other 10%!!
September 17, 201312 yr All information necessary to create a plugin for Deluge is in piotrasd's initial post: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=24886.0 I don't have time to make the plugin but following the instructions gets Deluge running.
