Help adding a new drive to my array

Featured Replies

I set up Unraid last week and have been having good luck with it so far.  I bought 2 new 2tb drives. One I set up as the parity drive and the other is full of my media.  I filled it up fairly quickly so I added 1tb drive I had laying around.  It cleared out the drive over night, formatted this morning.  The issue now is that I can get the new drive to appear but it will only appear as a new separate drive.  I would like to just add it to my existing array to give me more free space for the folders I already have set up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You have to enable User shares and set up a share that includes both drives.

I have one share set up named Media.  I have subfolders under Media, Movies, Tv Shows, Etc.  I goto shares and add included disks and told it to include disk2 (the new drive).  The amount of free space has not changed even though I added the new 1tb drive.

You sure it's not just calculating it wrong in the WebGUI? Map the Media share in Windows and look at the total available space.
