creating share not working... no errors

Featured Replies

I have only 1 drive in my "array" so I wasn't sure if this is causing the issue (the other drive is being precleared and the third is still in another computer).

I've restarted array a few times but that isn't seeming to work.

If you click "Shares" it displays the list that is empty with the "Add Shares" button. I click "Add Shares", name the share (tried 'data' and 'media') and then click add. It refreshes the add share page.

I go back to shares at the top and the list is still empty. I have also tried different allocation methods (most free and highwater) to see if that would solve my problem, which I'm suspecting is due to only having one drive in the array. Lastly, I noticed in the wiki that it refers to export mode a lot... I don't have this option.

I'm really good at figuring out what is wrong after taking the time to post...

The one drive in my array was still "unfromatted" and the format option wasn't appearing. Restarted browser and it is now formatting. I assume this will solve the share issue.

Good job! Thanks for updating the thread. Please mark it solved. You can edit the title of the post as well as change the message's icon. (I just discovered that trick myself!)

Enjoy unRAID and welcome!!
