Red Ball Drive Issue

Moved flat yesterday and once moved in got my UnRaid server booted back up.

 

One of the drives had a red ball, so I checked all of the connectors rebooted and added it back in to the array. The drive started to be rebuilt and I checked on it about 10 minutes ago and it was about 80% complete.

 

Checked again now and the drive is back to being red balled, obviously the data didn't finish getting

 

Looks as though there is a load of write errors in the syslog, guessing I should be looking at RMAing this drive? And getting a replacement quick sharp?

    Yes, you need to replace it ASAP.

     

    If you're going to wait for an RMA to replace it, I'd shut the system down until you get the new drive so you're not running at risk for that long.
