realtek 8169sc

I got a realtek 8169sc pci network card that I wanted to use in my server, problem is that the server locks up when I use this card.  If i use the built in networking on the motherboard all is fine.  I been reading the posts on this card and not sure if the problems have been resolved.

 

I'm running version 4.4.  Should I just not bother messing with this card and get an intel network card.
