Is there better out there? I'm looking to buy 3 to make compressing BD ISOs faster. SSD is not an option due to the size of these.

Yes, that'll do nicely.

 

It's 1TB/platter and 7200rpm => you won't get any better performance with current drives.

 

... although you CAN get 1TB SSDs  :)

I presume, however, that price is a bit of a factor  8)

(but that 2.8GB/s transfer rate sure would speed up your compressions !! ... assuming you have a CPU that can generate the data that fast)

Ha, I wish I could just buy a bunch of 1TB SSDs and Raid 0 them. That's just way too much though. I do use a 256GB SSD as a "temp" drive to ensure these won't be read/wrote to at the same time. :)
