I just tried upgrading to 5.0  final from 4.7

I formatted the flash and copied the files for 5.0  ran makeboot, copied old config folder.

I verified the ip address of the server. I can telnet to it and login.

The web page with ip address or name does not work and times out.

I also tried an empty config folder only with a key file and that has not worked any better.

 

Ideas

You may have a local name server problem.

 

Reboot the system you're trying to access it from and then try again.

 

I have tried rebooting both systems. I also did a ipconfig /flushdns as well still not luck

I can get to the system via tower using telnet but the website

 

Attach a syslog and some of the experts will review to see what the problem is.  (Make sure that you have absolutely no add-ons or plugins that might be installing.  The reason being that one of them hanging during the loading process will prevent the webpage handler from starting.)

Did you try rebooting the system you're trying to access it with (AFTER UnRAID is already booted) ??

EDIT:  If you can't get the syslog file off the server via Windows Explorer, you can shut the server down, pull the flash drive and copy it off in your Windows computer.

The syslog is too short. Collect one at least 15 minutes after booting.

As it turns out I had not copies ALL of the required files over or has some the old ones in place.

I copied all the files in the new config folder and it is working now.
