September 13, 201312 yr Got some new ram, got access through browser, did a parity check and then tried to get to the files on my Windows 7 PC and I cannot. What's all this about?
September 13, 201312 yr Author Planning on doing that to make sure the new ram is OK but I don't think that's the problem. I just saw a message about a read only file system. I think I have to do a Check Disk Filesystems thing I goggled this morning. I guess I'll have to sort this out of my day off as this looks complicated
September 14, 201312 yr Here's my syslog if anyone understands this It appears as though your boot flash drive has some filesystem problems. Hence it was mounted r/o and a bunch of problems followed. This could be a result of bad memory, but quite unlikely. It'd try to fix the flash drive FS problems, and retry.
September 14, 201312 yr Author Yeah in my googling I found someone with the exact same problem. Put the flash drive in my PC and scanned and fixed now everything seems ok. Doing a parity check again but I assume I'll be OK. Thanks!
