Once of the things that came out of it was the annual failure rates of SSDs vs HDD, 1.5% vs 5%. The numbers are attributed to an IHS study, which I can not find (yet).

 

While I agree the SSD failure rate is probably lower than HDD, the 5% is a bit large to me. I would have expected closer to 3% (still over the SSD rate), so makes me suspect and want to read the report.
