To quote Jeremy Clarkson, "That's not gone well"

Long time stalker, never a poster. Had an older media pc that I decided to get rid of for the security of the unraid system, but I guess you can't fix stupid.

I don't believe there is anything that can be done about my lost 3000+ episodes, but I just was hoping for some insight as to what the hell I did wrong.

The story:

unRAID build went fine, successfully moved over all my movies and tv shows onto my tower. I decided to setup a cache drive and then add the plugins I would need for a centralized media server. First plugin was simplefeatures. Then, I set up sabnzbd, sickbeard, and CP according to this post: http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Setting_Up_SABnzbd,_SickBeard,_and_CouchPotoato. After that I decided to grab a couple Raspberry Pi's and sync up all my XBMC databases following this post: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=11473.0.

I had an appdata folder setup on my cache drive as well as a mySQL folder. All looked to be working well, except that neither Sickbeard nor CP would move files over to my Media share (on the main drives). They stayed on the cache and I would manually move them over using Midnight Commander. This wasn't a big deal, but with the Fall lineup starting I decided to try to fix this. I read up a bit (obviously not enough) and saw that the user0 filepath was used for the cache drive to move stuff over to the main drives. Thought that sounded like a good course of action to take so I did that. . . . . and all hell broke loose.

Things starting moving around and it looked like sickbeard was in the process of renaming or moving ALL of my tv shows to whatever naming convention i had set it to. Thought that sounded well, so Sunday night i settled down for a long summer's nap and let it do it's thing. Woke up monday morning and every TV show episode that I hadn't downloaded in the last few weeks was gone and my stats data showed A LOT of freed up space. Also, now sickbeard has a wonderful error screen; sabnzbd seems to think it's been installed fresh, and CP is having some linking issues with the old pictures and DB that I h ad set up. Also, my cache share drives are out of wack.

Like I said, I realize this is not reversable, and it's completely my fault. I was just hoping to learn some insight as to what I did wrong.

What I have noticed on my own is that mySQL share has apparently grown to take up my entire cache drive now, don't know why; but it's settings don't show it as "Cache Only" anymore. My Cache share, on the other hand, is set to "Cache Only" but is some how 3+ TBs?  (Not possibly since my cache drive is only a 500GB SSD).

I'm attaching some screen caps of the share info and I'll post my syslog in the next post.

ANY insight will be helpful, my plan now is to wipe my flash drive and do a fresh install with the new 5.0 i386 build.

Thanks,

Here are some more screenshots of my SQL and appdata shares. I don't understand how appdata says "Cache Only" but is 3+ TBs large.
