I upgraded yesterday from 5 rc 16c to 5.0 final. I made sure I didn't have any failed drives and I shutdown the server. I installed simple features/unmenu and control panel plugin. It booted normally and I can still get to the shares, however I cannot get into any of the web interfaces. I have now already waited for over 12 hours and it's still not recovered. I connected a console and it's not showing anything in the syslog which would explain this. This happened when I tried to start mysql plugin that the web interface became unresponsive. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Does it start with no add-ons?

my problem is that because I cannot get into the webinterface I don't really want to do a hard power down, I have still access via console and putty, but that is not recommended to reboot that way.
