Hi does unraid support soundcard drivers.  I have setup simple features iTunes server and have managed to connect to unraid via my ipad and play files to my amp via airplay but cant get any sound the forked-daapd.log below references cant find my on board soundcard drivers

There are no sound card drivers installed in the base unRAID.

Ok thanks good to know am I on the right track here in that I will need sound card drivers for this to work

An alternative approach - You could use a UPnP/DLNA server application on the unRAID box instead of the iTunes server application, use something like PlugPlayer on the iPad to browse and play, and then send the audio via Airplay or Bluetooth to whatever device you wish the audio to come from.
