September 27, 201312 yr ok have a weird problem... have had a great working setup for about a year and a half... i have four shares on unraid 'mapped' to my windows pc. all are working fine EXCEPT one. just starting tonight, for some strange reason, i can no longer access my share called "media". I have 3 other shares working just fine! i get error message 'windows cannot access \\tower\Media\Media' You do not have permission to access \tower\Media\Media. contact your network administrator to request access have no idea what to do! all my movies, tv etc are on that share? any advice? i didn't change anythign that i know of! edit: rebooted server to see if that would fix, no luck. deleted mapping on pc, tried to remap. seems to hang when i do that, possibly because it can't access the share looked at share through settings, and nothing appears to be changed? not sure if this is an unraid thing, or a pc thing?
September 27, 201312 yr Author ran command newperms mnt/users/Media ran for about 30 min (i have about 40tb of media!) but seems to have fixed it. not sure what caused it though
