September 27, 201312 yr Tower kernel: sata_sil24: IRQ status == 0xffffffff, PCI fault or device removal? (Drive related) i'm seeing a bunch of these messages coming in.. any idea what it means and/or what device it is referring to? i don't see any other exceptions or errors coming in along with this, and the array itself is good and parity good as of 9 days ago (running another parity check now so far all clean). syslog-2013-09-27.txt

October 5, 201312 yr Author after a reboot it's been a few days and i have no longer been seeing this in the logs. i'll keep an eye out.
July 7, 201412 yr Author reboot seems to clear the issue for a while but it always comes back. i think this might be an issue with my usb drive because if all my drives are spun down, i access unmenu and i will see that in my log with the same timestamp. i'm thinking unmenu lives on my usb drive. any thoughts?
