I get some stuttering with the newer files. I typically resolve it by copying a full disk to a blank disk. Works but there needs to be a better way.
October 18, 201312 yr It had to be done off line. If it uses the mdx device then a parity rebuild would not be needed afterwards. I have been using SAGETV and it writes and deletes huge amount of data. 1.5 gig an hour when watched either deleted or moved to anouther drive for archive. I am wondering how bad that disk is fragmented. It has 1/3 free now. John
