emhttp crashing on first access by browser

Featured Replies

I've recently (since, but not immediately following, upgrade to 5.0 final) been getting emhttp crashes:

emhttp: emhttp_read_line: emhttp_read_line: input line too long

I have tried disabling plugins, no help.

Interestingly, if I issue a wget 127.0.0.1 from a console login I get the index.html page back just fine. So it seems to be related to accessing it from the browser. Maybe the request or the headers or the cookies are causing a problem?

Is there any way to get more info, or a core file, or something from the crashing process?

Also, any way to restart emhttp other than a manual array stop and reboot?

Thanks

Is it possible to try another browser, ideally with no addons or extensions?

Sent from a mobile device, sorry for any typos.

Start in safe mode and see if the problem exists.

Yep, different browser doesn't seem to show the same problem - works fine. Switch back to Chrome (30) and bang!

I'll try to get a log of the HTTP request. Is there any logging or core dump that I can enable for emhttp without tom doing a special build?
