I have 2 user directories?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I dont telnet into my box too often because it's usually working flawlessly. Today I did and I noticed a potential problem. Under the /mnt directory I have 2 user directories /mnt/user and /mnt/user0/mnt/user is the path I had always used.  Some (but not all) of the folders from /mnt/user are duplicated under /mnt/user0.

Both folders appear as directories.  This doesn't seem right to me!  Is this a corrupt disk issue, if so how can it be repaired?  I tried rebooting the server but that didn't help.

Thanks

To elaborate on dgaschk's reply, the /mnt/user0 directory IS the /mnt/user directory with the exception it doesn't show anything on your cache drive.

The /mnt/user0 directory only exists if you use a cache drive and is used by the mover script to move things from cache to the array.
