October 20, 201312 yr Whilst trying to access a sub folder in one of my shares I get the following error: (see attatchment) I have a couple of folders across different shares that do this, any help would be greatly appreciated!
October 20, 201312 yr Can you access it directly, IE not from the mapped drive? For example, \\Tower\Ellie Goulding\Halcyon (of course using actual path, I imagine "Ellie Goulding" isn't the share name.) Also, can you access the folder via telnet: cd /mnt/user/sharename/Ellie\ Goulding/Halcyon
October 20, 201312 yr Author No I can't but I can browse the files in the unraid web interface through the shares menu.
October 20, 201312 yr Run this on the parent directory that Halcyon is in ls -l /path/to/Ellie\ Goulding/
October 20, 201312 yr Author I must be doing something wrong, The response to the command is 'cannot access directory'.
October 20, 201312 yr Author I ran the new permissions process immediately after writing the previous comment, and that has solved the problem. Thank you both for taking the time to help!
