October 22, 201312 yr So I cannot get my unRAID tower to boot. The boot freezes on the task: unraid-swapfile[9906]: Initiating unraid swap-file. It sits there for 5 minutes or so, before displaying: /etc/rc.d/rc.local: line 42: 8838 Killed /var/tmp/go Then it finally will get to the login prompt; but it won't let me login, and nothing appears to be working. Can't telnet in, can't access web-gui, can't login directly with keyboard. I USED to have a swapfile set up, but deleted it a month ago and haven't had any problems. Things were going great, I got CP & SB working seamlessly, and I was just beginning to retry setting up mySQL (after a failed attempt a month ago). Things that I did tonight: installed Mylar (but the system rebooted fine with it installed); then I installed mySQL and was working on getting XBMC SaLUd installed. The install for XBMC SaLUd froze so I had to restart. Haven't been able to get a good boot since. I already removed Mylar and XBMC SaLUd from the config/plugins folder on the flash, but it hasn't helped. I wonder if because the LAST time I set up mySQL I used a Swap File if it's still trying to use those configs but not finding swap-file installed. What on the flash drive can I delete to either uninstall mySQL and the swap-file; or clear all the settings? thanks for your help, -3 Ninjas
October 22, 201312 yr Author If it helps, I'm running unRAID 5 Final. I upgraded sometime after I uninstalled mysql & Swap file.
