October 28, 201312 yr Hi guys. I have Asus P8Z77-V LE mobo, 16 gigs ram, on unRAID 5.0 Final release. Running Sab, CP, SB, Headphones, MySQL and Subsonic I was running the AOC-SASLP but i wanted more speed (3Gbps vs 6Gpbs) so i upgraded to the AOC-SAS2LP-MV8. My problem is i can't get it to work with that board BUT it is supposed to (i think). I can't find no where in the BIOS to make it work. Where i'm confused, is during the boot process, i see the light on the card flashes, i see in the screen that it is loading disk (p1, p2, p3 ...). Also, when i go in the BIOS, i can boot from any HD plugged in the card. Once unRAID is up and the gui is ready, i see no drive except those plugged in the mobo. I'm really confused ... Do i have to add extra driver/package/add-on or whatever to unRAID to make that card work ?
October 28, 201312 yr Check for a MB BIOS update and AOC firmware update. Enter the AOC BIOS and make sure it is configured JBOD.
