October 28, 201312 yr After I upgraded my 4.7 array to 5.0, I have this error on the main page: Last checked on Warning: strftime(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Chicago' for 'CDT/-5.0/DST' instead in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/webGui/template.php on line 41 Tue Oct 1 07:28:08 2013 CDT (27 days ago), finding 0 errors. When I go to Settings/Date and Time, here are the settings: Timezone: (UTC-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada) Use NTP: Yes NTP Server: pool.ntp.org Can someone tell me what to do here? Thanks.
October 28, 201312 yr Interesting message. I'd try "toggling" the settings. Go to Settings - Date & Time; then change the time zone to something else; reboot the server; and then go back and change the time zone to your actual zone. See if that resolves this.
October 30, 201312 yr Author Found the problem. Detailed in this post: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=12698.msg267509;topicseen#msg267509. But this does not explain why a bug in the simple feature web server plugin should affect the time reporting on the main Unraid web GUI! In my opinions, plugins should never be allowed to affect the official control software.
