November 2, 201312 yr I have a file on my array that's 200GB. i can't for the life of me seem to get access to it. If i try via SMB to copy it, i get an error saying that i don't have permission. I can see it on the webui, and when i download it that way, i get a 0KB file. how can i tell if the file somehow got corrupted, or if something else is amiss? can i copy the file from disk3 to disk7 via the console?
November 2, 201312 yr Author Select Utils->New Permissions. thanks - i started a cp ... can i just ctrl+c to cancel that ? i wasn't sure if this was that thing to NEVER DO. after clicking and seeing the description, this makes sense
November 2, 201312 yr Author finished! this worked thanks! sorry - this has been a long weekend. a usb stick died that had my esxi on it, then a video card died with a stuck fan (Well not dead, jsut busted fan). and then since i couldn't get this from the webui, i thought corrupt file, for sure!
