November 12, 201312 yr While copying data from an external drive I found that the stock driver does not support umlauts. I can't say what the exact reason is. Missing unicode support? Wrong character set? Anyway, installing the ntfs-3g driver solved this issue. If you don't check your data after copying you might end up with lots of mutated files --> not very nice!
