User Share content missing

Featured Replies

I have been using unraid for several years.  In the last year or so I noticed some of my data was missing from a user share.  Then I realized some of the write permissions were acting funny.  I later discovered that when I click on disk1, disk2, or disk3 I see my user share "folder" and each drive has content in it. But if I just open the user share I created with the same name that content is missing?  I think one of the updates must've messed it up and I don't really know when it happened.  I'm thankful that the data is all still on the disks, I just don't really know how to correct the problem and get everything back under that user share.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Please post a system log.  This will provide some vital details such as what version you're running, what plugins, etc.

Confirm that each top level folder on the individual disks is exactly the same. I've had issues before where one disk had the name capitalized, and none of the others did. It caused exactly what you are seeing.

Thanks I will look at your suggestion.  I have attached my syslog, thanks for your help.

Wow, it looks like it was the lowercase issue.  I have tried and tried to wrap my head around what was going on. So simple.  Thanks so much!

Not like it matters for this issue, since you solved it anyway, but the syslog you posted isn't likely to be too helpful. Next time zip up the raw text and post it that way. It's much easier to analyze that way. Here is the old fashioned, tried and true method to get the text, then you can compress it into a zip file and attach it.
