November 18, 201312 yr Let me preface this by saying I've written this guide for beginners really, but also to aide my own memory as I found some of the existing information a little confusing and not always 100% clear. I'm currently removing 6 drives from my array at once (all my non 3TB drives) using this method. Yes, it requires a parity rebuild but for me, it's the simplest and quickest method.
