Unraidip:32000/web not found

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

i got a problem getting connected to my PMS i set up on my unraid server.

On the server side everything is fine, PMS was started once and it worked. After a reboot i got"Machine check error",....so i got to reinstall PMS

and now i cant get to the plex libary edit site.

How i can find out if my plex server got another ip(by the router) then :32400?

P.S: on the myplex site i see my PMS unter https://my.plexapp.com/ -> Devices

Plex will always get 32400 on your local network unless you change it in the config, externally it will use an available port and use uPnp in the router to forward itself.

If you cant get to yourip:32400/web then plex isn't running. How did you install it? Drop the pkg in the extras folder?

Yes i did put it in the extra folder.

the first time i set the unraid server up, my buddy installes plex via terminal comamnds, but after rebooting i had the error boot message "machine check error" so i erased e.th. and made a new unraid usb drive and and extra folder for the plex plugin

Can you get to the web gui for unRAID? Rebooting would of reinstalled Plex if it was in a folder called extra on the root of your USB.

Only for myPlex functionality. If you don't want to use uPNP you can always hardcode the port you want Plex to use in the Plex configuration options and statically forward that port on your router.

Thanks a lot! With static ports and the handtyped IP I got it working!!! Now I just fight to set the plex port to 32400, not the auto 21755

The default port for PMS is 32400, where does this 21755 come from?

it came from his router. using uPnP on the router
