November 21, 201312 yr Hello I am currently running latest final (5.0). Today i replaced my disk1 from a 1.5TB to a 3TB. Shut down, replaced disk, started up again. Checked the array. Unraid said Disk1 (1.5TB) was missing. Choosed the new drive (3TB) and then clicked "I am sure" and start. Now I cant use the web interface. And when i tried to restart the webgui: killall emhttp nohup /usr/local/sbin/emhttp & I got the "Segmentaion fault" error I guess that my server is rebuilding my array (see the syslog down below). Anybody got an idea how to see how long the rebuild process has completed? After that duration, everything will respond as usual. I recently did the exact same thing replacing a 2TB drive with a 4TB drive. It was almost 5 minutes before the web-gui responded again. By killing emhttp, you interrupted the process. You CANNOT kill and re-start emhttp in the way you attempted. It will seg-fault. All you can do now is wait for the rebuild to complete, and then stop the array and rebot using the command line commands as described in the wiki-entry linked to in the prior post.
November 22, 201312 yr Author I am waiting as I dont want to interupt the process. I will wait for at least 36h before I try to reboot the unraid. Is there any way I can see if the rebuild process is finished? I have no disk activity light on my unraid server... Regards Jens
