c3 Posted November 30, 2013 Share Posted November 30, 2013 Depends on the other connection. Some use a SAS to SAS, like Norco cases. Seems like you want SAS to SATA discrete. NAS Posted December 3, 2013 Share Posted December 3, 2013 Whoever design this cable spec and naming needs a lesson in common sense. Let me make it simple. What you care about is the connector type at the motherboard or RAID card end: If the motherboard or RAID card is the fancy 8087 plug you want FORWARD. If the motherboard or RAID card is traditional set of sata plugs you want REVERSE. The cables you listed have ocR and ocF to make it more obvious which is which.
