December 1, 201312 yr I'm almost certainly going to find it impossible to run cgminer on a stock unraid install. So I guess the only options is a full slackware install or hyper visor? Anyone running a mining app on their servers?
December 3, 201312 yr I think the bigger question is why would you want to? The days of CPU and GPU mining are long gone IMHO. These days, without a dedicated ASIC miner you'll use more in power than you will make mining, even with bitcoin at $1000. There's a fairly lengthy discussion here from earlier this year.

He didn't say he was using a cpu or gpu. You still need cgminer for an asic.
