So what are these processes.  I'm in the middle of a party check and some times these pop to the top.  Oddly this time with an insane cpu%, but other times with a more reasonable 120% and when not spiking about 20-30%

    I'm noticing these processes too; I wonder if it's related to my slow parity check speed (20MB/s).

    Google for "linux migration process" seems to indicate it is for distributing the workload to multiple CPUs.
