What is this Error? rcu_sched self-detected stall on CPU

Featured Replies

Some version of this is happening about every 3-4 min.  Seems to have only started after i swapped from an Athlon X2 7750 to a Phenom II X4 975

Full syslog is attached.

Thanks.

Check for a BIOS update.

I did.  I'm fully up to date.  And this cpu is officially supported

I have seen this, when goosing a Phenom.

Try taking the most conservative clocking, or underclocking the CPU.

If that doesn't work, try selectively disabling cores.
