December 11, 201312 yr I just installed plex and went to my web browser and declared where my files are kept...but it doesn't update or show any files online and I get this message now when I try to go to the files on the server. Anyone have an Idea what to do?
December 11, 201312 yr Author Ok, so I got plex to work...It streams to my phone on the network and I can go to it in the web browser...but I shared the server with my friend and he said that his is showing up "Does not have permission". Is there something else I have to change for others to be able to view the content?
December 11, 201312 yr You have to specify which libraries he is allowed to view in your MyPlex account where you set up the sharing.

December 12, 201312 yr No, not on unRaid. AFAIK, the only way to configure this is via the MyPlex website. How did you give him access to your server? https://my.plexapp.com
