December 12, 201312 yr Hi everyone, I wonder if someone can please help. I've been using an UnRAID server for a good few months now without issue. The other day I saved some photos to a share on my unRAID box, but now when I try to access them, I get a message 'Windows cannot access blah blah.. - You do not have permission to access \\shareblahblah'. When I telnet onto the box I can see all the files are there in the directory, so I'm not sure why all of a sudden, that one directory within the share cannot be accessed via Windows? Many thanks for your help
December 12, 201312 yr The system was not shutdown correctly. This may result in filesystem corruption. Run check disk on the flash in a Mac or PC. Also see check disk file systems in my sig.

December 13, 201312 yr Author Oh perfect, once I had run the 'New Permissions' script that has cleared the problem. I was not aware of that option. Not sure how the permissions got changed as I only ever access via samba, but it's sorted now so that's the main thing. Thanks for your help
