December 18, 201312 yr Hello, I am on the hunt for something that works like PLEX MEDIA SERVER on unRAID, but for MP3s only. I love how PLEX indexed my video media, however was not a fan of it for MP3 albums and music. I was inquiring if someone here knew anything that would work the same, server + indexing done on Unraid BOX, and front end on media HTPCs Thank you :-)

December 19, 201312 yr I run both Plex and Subsonic. I really wish Plex wasn't so horrible with music collections. It's cludgy to say the least. Subsonic is much faster with my music collection. It's certainly lacking in some categories, but it ain't all that bad. It transcodes, caches, has apps for both Android and iPhone, MAC, windows.
