Average speed: 56.3 MB/sec The disk reports errors, however the parity check complete status does not, any reason for that ?

Possibly the errors were read failures, however when unraid encounters a read error, it calculates what should be in that spot, and writes it back. As long as the write operation doesn't throw an error, it doesn't red ball the disk. I would definitely pull a smart report on that disk, it may be starting to fail.
December 19, 201312 yr Author OK right on, thank you :-) yah I did two parity checks to see if the errors corrected on the second pass and got the same write and error stats on the disk, however parity check itself reported no errors , guess ill pull a SMART tomorrow.
