February 11, 201115 yr Just wanted to let the community know that this community addon powerdown package needs a change in it's /etc/rc.d/rc.unRAID script that deals with how it handles the 'status' command for unRAID 4.7 and unRAID 5.0b4. It might need to be changed for earlier versions of unraid, perhaps the 4.6 series. This is caused by a bug fix put in place on unRAID and the script's direct use of /proc/mdcmd instead of relying on /root/mdcmd. The changes/fixes are removing the "echo status > /proc/mdcmd" statements.
February 12, 201115 yr Could this be the reason that since upgrading to Unraid 4.6 the powerdown script no longer works when pressing the power button on my server?? Hitting Ctrl-Alt-Del still works fine mind Cheers, Matt.
