December 25, 201312 yr I've replaced my parity with a 4TB disk, so my old parity will be going back in as a data drive, as its been a few years since I've had to deal with EARS drives and jumpering, should I use the -a option on the preclear? I think I did when first installed. The preclear script is saying that the partition will start on sector 63 and will not be 4k-aligned( which if I remember is right for this drive) Advice, memory jog before I go ahead, cheers and Merry Christmas

(the jumper electrically adds "1" on an EARS drive, so the end result is you are 4k aligned)
December 25, 201312 yr Author Thanks Joe L, -a added and preclear has started. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
