Please enhance the syslog utility. Access to rotated log files, e.g. syslog.1, should be added. There is currently no GUI access to these files.

    Nice idea.

    unRAID's logs aren't written to disk, but are stored in memory.

    So log rotation would require saving the logs to disk, first?

     

     

    Once written to disk, then the *nix command 'logrotate' could do the housekeeping?

    This would make a very useful plugin or enhancement to unRAID.

    Rotated logs are stored in /var/log.
