December 30, 201312 yr I had 3 crashes using unRAID v5.0 in just 5 days. A few month ago I had some errors on my usb stick, and I fixed that with checkdisk in windows. That time I had some strange errors in the system log, and found out that it was the usb stick. Now unraid is crashing on me all the time, and I don't see anything in the syslog before it crashes. The two first times I ran a parity check and didn't find any errors. The third time just happened 2 hours ago, I'm running memtest now to test the memory sticks. I have 3 pictures how the screen locked after every crash, can someone make anything out of them? Could it be the usb stick again? After the second crash I ran checkdisk in windows, but it didn't seem to fix the problem. Maybe I need to format the usb stick to be on the safe side?
January 5, 201412 yr Author Update: I ran the usb stick with hd tune in windows and found lots of errors. I guess I need a new usb stick, will do some tests on the current usb stick.
