What would be a better option? A SAS2LP-MV8 or a M1015 for an unraid 12/14 disk build on a X7SPA-HF? I can get both used, the SAS2LP 60 Euros and M1015 80 Euros.

    I've used an AOC-SASLP-MV8 for 18 months in a X7SPA-HF without a problem. But it doesn't support S3 sleep.

     

    So I've just swapped it out for an IBM M1015 (IT flashed). Depends if Sleep is important to you.
