Currently I installed Transmission 2.76 (13786) via Control Panel (through Influencer)

 

I searched and found this via their official website http://repository.slacky.eu/slackware-14.1/network/transmission/2.82/, but have no idea on how to update my current version to that instead of installing a new copy.

 

Any help for a *nix newbie?

    You will have to edit the transmission_unplugged.plg yourself since it is not currently being maintained. See HERE
