January 2, 201412 yr Hi guys, Big problem (for me) short: It seems that my PC (windows 8.1) is causing my Unraid Rig to spin up every damn Drive assigned to my Network Drives on this Machine. do you guys know a possibility to stop that behavior without losing the comfort of using SMB Network drives ? best regards Christoph

Thank you Joe ! That did it for me until now. When the problem occurs again, I will try to use "cache_dir" (thank you for your recommendation Kevin !)
