Rename share

Featured Replies

How do I rename a share in the root directory. Windows Explorer will not allow me to do so. I did a forum search but had no luck. I have an idea as to how to do this but no courage to try it.

Thanks

You wouldn't want any old user running around and changing the unRAID server's setup.Renaming a 'share' in the root directory sounds like an unRAID server administrator role.

What happens if you try it from the web interface to unRAID?

...on the 'shares' tab?

Thanks! I thought that might the way to renaming the share. It has been over five years since I created any new shares and I just forgot what I did.

Thanks for you time and response.
