Raspbmc cant see new files since upgrade to 5.03

Featured Replies

I upgraded my Unraid NAS to 5.0.3 recently. I'm running Raspbmc which has always been able to see all the shares and files. Any files added to the NAS prior to the upgrade are fine and can be seen and played. Any new files fail to be indexed however. They are there and I can copy to and from the NAS OK  but none of them can be seen by the Raspbmc device and nothing new is indexed.

Any Ideas? I've attached my syslog in case that helps?

Cheers, Rob.

EDIT : I'm just gping to try reverting to the stock system as recommended in  dgaschk signature. I'll update this post once that is done.

What version did you upgrade from?

I can't remember to be honest. I've just completed the process of removing all the plugins, etc, have re-run the permission change tool and am running a parity check.

I'll check everything once that is complete and report back.

Just checked the backup I did of the flash drive before the upgrade and it was version 4.7

I may just revert to that if I can't get this working.

Cheers, Rob.

What user name(if any) are you using to connect.  With the 5.x series of unRAID the user 'root' is no longer able to access shares.  Having said that, the symptoms do not sound quite right for this to be your issue.
