cinereus
Any idea how to get System Temp to work (on Unraid 6.8.3 • Supermicro SuperServer 6027R-E1R12T (rev 03.54) • X9DRH-7TF V1.02) The first time I installed it immediately after clicking detecting and it finding the nct7904 I had a whole bunch of sensors detecting but the second I clicked Done they all disappeared and I'm left with this: My sensors seem to be found okay (although my fan speeds suddenly disappeared from netstat): root@fs:~# sensors coretemp-isa-0000 Adapter: ISA adapter Package id 0: +33.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) Core 0: +27.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) Core 1: +33.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) Core 2: +27.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) Core 3: +26.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) Core 4: +28.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) Core 5: +27.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) Core 6: +29.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) Core 7: +28.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) coretemp-isa-0001 Adapter: ISA adapter Package id 1: +30.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) Core 0: +30.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) Core 1: +28.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) Core 2: +24.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) Core 3: +28.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) Core 4: +26.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) Core 5: +29.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) Core 6: +30.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) Core 7: +28.0°C (high = +74.0°C, crit = +84.0°C) Now no matter what I try (reinstalling from scratch, any permutation of Detect and Load/Unload drivers), I can't get any sensors to show whatsoever. How do I get this to work on my hardware? Edited April 18, 2020 by cinereus Quote Link to comment

theunraidhomeuser
Guys, I think it's just the kernel that doesn't support the ASUS motherboards. I've got a ROG STRIX B450-I. Temperature sensors are detected by sensors-detect but nothing happens in UNRAID. UNRAID Admins: please have a look to support AMD a bit more! Thanks! Quote Link to comment
comet424
ya there is a driver package being writing that's posted on the GitHub for asus boards.. but there is a few glitchs that cant be fixed in it as they stated its a Kernel issue and has to be addressed.. Quote Link to comment

comet424
there is still no fix for the asus x570 boards.. here they are still working on wmi drivers but are saying its a kernel issue.. so far no fix till the kernel software gets fixed.. so temperature doesntwork anymore https://github.com/electrified/asus-wmi-sensors Quote Link to comment

Kirito
I have ryzen 3900x got it working with the 6.9.0 beta update. I'd like to know if theres a way to have it update the temperature more often something more reasonable. like maybe every .5 seconds are something around that. I've googled it a bunch and searched the forms with no luck. Quote Link to comment

feins
I've just install Unraid 6.8.3 as a Trial and im looking forward to test out the Temp plugin for my Lenovo Thinkstation S20 which is using the X58 Chipset. I found out that the temp and sensor detected aren't as i expected. Ive notice my 6core Xeon CPU core temp are missing some of the core and the sensor capture i cant determine which is which. Can anyone help me out on this or there another sensor driver that i could use to resolve this. I'm very new to unRaid and no knowledge in Linux or whatever. Basically this build is to replace my old WHS2010 which already EoLS for quite some time. Quote Link to comment

Samy
After advice from Unraid team to post my issue here, maybe I'll have a better support as it could be a plugin issue: Hello everyone, I'm actually trying Unraid (And I love it). I've already watched tutorials (thanks Space invader one if you read me !) However I'm running into issues when it comes to temperatures & fan monitoring in general: - temperatures are shown but are "frozen" and doesn't refresh no matter what I do, either they're completely frozen or the refresh time is way too long. - The temperatures are different from the IPMI interface - Thought about going to the plugin page and post my issue, however the issue is not plugin related, I've gone to console and use `watch -n 1 sensors` and temperatures doesn't refresh there too, however the plugin is picking them correctly - Last, might be a plugin related issue, I don't see any of my fans even if my board got more than 5 pwm fan connectors that are connected to Noctua A14 PWM fans (that are running) Beside that temperatures displayed are "normal" and "realistic" between 30 to 40°c, and from time to time the threshold od the ssd kicks in when I use them intensively, it just takes a LONG time to refresh Do you have an idea how can I investigate/solve the issue ? Please find attached some pictures : IPMI interface temperatures : Temperatures in Unraid interface: watch sensors command in console: used driver and configuration: Finally, here all available temperature sensors: Thank you very much for your read, can you please help me ? Best regards, Samy Quote Link to comment
