I've managed to get everything done in Mint, except the make the USB-stick bootable. Any tips on how to do that?

I don't have access to a Windows computer.

Try

syslinux -s /dev/sdx1

with the appropriate device instead of sdx

There's now a file ldlinux.sys on the drive, so I think it worked. Now to test it. Thank you!

edit: yeppers, worked! Was able to install unRAID, and have access to it from my desktop.

Thank you again for the quick response, jonathan!
